White voters are turning away from President Trump. That assessment includes his invaluable working-class white base. But Trump has only himself and his campaign to blame for the bad news contained in the latest polls. While America burns, his campaign’s only plan seems to be wooing black voters by tweeting that Joe Biden is the “real” racist. Trump seems unable to do anything about the riots or the devastation wrought by coronavirus. The latest poll numbers should knock some sense into the president. He seems to be responding a little lately, but he’s going to lose the election if he sticks to Jared Kushner’s agenda and doesn’t fight like the candidate we elected in 2016.

The latest polls from The New York Times poll lay bare the ugly truth.

Biden leads Trump among college-educated whites by 28 points [Biden Takes Dominant Lead as Voters Reject Trump on Virus and Race, by  Alexander Burns, Jonathan Martin and Matt Stevens, June 24, 2020]. The former vice president leads Trump by double digits among all white voters in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, three states crucial to Trump’s 2016 victory, yet he is down by double digits[In Poll, Trump Falls Far Behind Biden in Six Key Battleground States, by Nate Cohn, June 25, 2020].The same poll puts Biden 14 points ahead of Trump nationwide: 50 percent to 36 percent. That figure is no outlier either. The  latest polls from Fox News and Harvard-Harris put Biden 12 points ahead nationally. The Real Clear Politics average has Biden ahead by 9.4 points.

Trump’s problems among college-educated whites have drawn much attention during his presidency. What’s new is declining support among non-college educated whites, where he holds only a 19-point lead. He won that demographic by 37 points in 2016. And his declining support among this key constituency is pronounced in six battleground states, with only 16 percent of non-college educated whites backing him. In October, his lead among them was 24 points. In 2016, Trump won these battleground voters by 26 points.

Funny thing is, those voters aren’t defecting to Biden’s camp, either; their support for him has increased by just 1 since October. The Times describes them as “white voters with more conservative attitudes on racial issues,” which likely means they think Trump has not delivered the promised nationalist agenda. One voter told the Times’s Cohn he’s disappointed with Trump’s not cracking down on the rioters and shutting down the economy because of the Chinese Virus pandemic. He’ll still vote for Trump, but without much enthusiasm.

Older whites are also jumping ship. In six battleground states, Trump and Biden are about even among whites 65 or older. Trump won them by nearly 20 points in 2016. The Times attributes that decline to the president’s coronavirus response and his “tone” [Trump Faces Mounting Defections From a Once-Loyal Group: Older White Voters, by Alexander Burns and Katie Glueck, June 28, 2020].

“Then who do we shoot?”   Like Muley Graves the sharecropper, John Steinbeck’s evocative Okie everyman in John Ford’s 1940 film, many Americans are bewildered by a tidal wave of forces that seem beyond their control. The answer is not easy. But increasingly it seems likely to involve geographical partition.

Facing eviction from his dust-bowl farm, Muley confronts a man on a bulldozer who has come to demolish the shack Muley and his family live in. The sharecropper is determined not to give in and threatens the bulldozer operator with a shotgun—only to discover he is a local man, one of Muley’s own people. The bulldozer driver explains it’s not his fault, it’s just a job that he was hired to do. If Muley shoots him, then someone else will come to do the job and Muley will land in jail.

 “Then who do we shoot?” asks Muley. The banker? The people back East who own the bank? Morally disarmed and demoralized, Muley can only watch as the bulldozer man destroys his home.

Patriotic Americans understand Muley. Our people, our culture, our history, everything we hold dear, is under relentless attack by the Main Stream Media, politicians, “activists,” and kritarchs in the courts, aided and abetted by enemies within, often our own kith and kin, who have internalized the blood-libel Leftist narrative of an irredeemably “racist” America that must be razed to the ground. 

“If you know your enemy,” wrote Sun Tzu, “and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.” Our enemy, in this case is the globalist Blob and its militant would-be Che Guevaras and LARPing Leninists, the MSM, the bureaucracy, the courts, the big corporations, and the education establishment. 

Yet, for the most part, until recently, the Blob has not confronted the Historic American Nation head-on. The Blob has been patient, killing us by the death of a thousand cuts, taking ground steadily through subversion, using propaganda and misinformation, censorship via Tech Totalitarians, and the slow encroachment of what the late Sam Francis called “anarcho-tyranny,” with mass immigration (“the Great Replacement”) as its weapon of mass destruction.

If one is a religious believer, then one must concede that all questions, including political questions, are ultimately theological questions. We must, therefore, consider what many of us have, deep in our hearts, known all along: that the anti-white, anti-Historical American Nation malice now menacing the world is, in fact, the work of the Devil himself.

Please understand: I realize that VDARE is a nonsectarian coalition of various faiths (and none). And I generally prefer not to flaunt my Roman Catholic perspective in my writing because, ideally, theology and politics should remain separate spheres. And yet any decent person following the current news has to wonder if there is a sinister force at work in the world that is not human in origin.

In fact, I think you’ll find that this is the kind of question that, once raised, nearly answers itself.

For example, Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals—the handbook of the Left and of the last two Democratic nominees for President—was dedicated to Lucifer, “the first radical.” Here, Alinsky openly admits who he was really working for, and yet we hesitate to consider the implications of this in-your-face admission. Why?

Many people, including professed Christians, do not believe the Devil exists—which, of course, has long been the Devil’s greatest achievement. However, it is perhaps more likely that most of us just don’t want to think about the Devil because then we would be forced to admit the gravity of the challenge facing us.

So who is the Devil and what are we to do about him?

According to St. Thomas Aquinas, Lucifer was originally one of the  Seraphim, which is the highest choir of angels (Lucifer means “light-bearer” in Hebrew). [Summa Theologiae—Question 63. The malice of the angels with regard to sin]

At Creation, however, God tasked the angels with serving mankind, which many angels, most notably Lucifer, refused to do on the grounds that higher beings should never stoop to serve lower beings. “I will not serve” Lucifer insisted, and subsequently, along with one third of the angels, rebelled.

A battle in Heaven ensued and Lucifer and his army were expelled, the conflict John Milton strikingly portrays in Paradise Lost. In fact, the late and legendary exorcist Father Gabriele Amorth reported that many demons had actually confirmed the historical fact of this battle and banishment to him.

After this expulsion, Lucifer became known as “Satan” (Hebrew for “adversary” or “accuser”) and ever since he and his fallen angels have continued to, as Saint Peter put it, “prowl the earth like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”

Is it not, therefore, obvious why Satan would specifically target white civilization? White men have been responsible for virtually every high achievement in every field of human endeavor; most notably, Christendom. If Satan’s goal is to undermine the human race, it only makes sense that he would target whites for extinction.

• a lawyer at Network Solutions has reinterpreted their termination letter to mean that our deadline is June 29^th – a four-day extension.

Alas, even once the transfer has been completed, the story will not be over.

The number of ICANN accredited registrars has shrunk significantly in recent years as a result of consolidation. Many consumer-level registrars are not independently but repackage services from larger companies. These larger companies are increasingly Woke. So while an individual registrar retailer may claim a freedom of speech mission-oriented corporate value, they operate solely at the pleasure of their supply chain.

In other words, we don’t know how long we’ll be tolerated by the new registrar either.

This is a cat-and-mouse game we have played before. VDARE.com has not wavered despite being banned from a list of Woke corporations that grows ever longer. Recent disastrous decisions by our “conservative” U.S. Supreme Court shows that, if Ann Coulter’s Adios America! was the most important book of the 2016 election, Christopher Caldwell’s The Age of Entitlement is the most important book of the 2020 cycle. He argues that the new constitution effectively created by the misnamed Civil Rights Act has displaced the old Constitution that the Framers gave us. Now it appears the “conservative movement” is submitting to this Cultural Marxist revolution. There’s nothing left to “conserve.” Americans need to take a more proactive strategy to safeguard our liberties.

Thanks to immigration policy, nonwhites are now the majority of Americans under age 16 [Census shows white decline, nonwhite majority among youngest, by Mike Schneider, Associated Press, June 25, 2020]. The Supreme Court is apparently making decisions establishing the new legal order for this emerging Third World America.

“Law is whatever is boldly asserted and plausibly maintained,” said Aaron Burr. It’s hard to believe SCOTUS made its two recent decisions in good faith. It seems far more likely that a majority in each case envisioned the outcome they wanted in advance and then reasoned backwards.

In the first decision, the Main Stream Media is reporting that the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 protects homosexuals and transsexuals [Supreme Court Delivers Major Victory To LGBTQ Employees, by Nina Totenberg, NPR, June 15, 2020].

This doesn’t quite cover it. The decision, written by President Trump Supreme Court appointee Neil Gorsuch, admitted that those who wrote the Civil Rights Act “might not have anticipated their work would lead to this particular result.” Nonetheless, Gorsuch and the majority decided that “sex” did cover transgenders. “Only the written word is the law,” he thundered, “and all persons are entitled to its benefit.”
